Should I buy mythical shoes?

I'm a fairly new fan, and so I've been pondering the rite of passage that is the purchase of the mythical shoe. The clock is running down on production, and I cannot make up my mind. I'd like to get a couple pairs (anniversary and camo).

Have you bought shoes? Are you happy with your shoes? Do they fit well? Good quality? Is it worth the price? Did you preorder the 5-year shoe? Any regrets?

Also, and possibly most importantly, does anyone know how much of the shoe money goes to Rhett & Link? I'm more inclined to buy things in direct support of my fandoms.

I also want to pre-order the new one but saw the price and I'm on the fence about it.
