Home of Rhett & Link fans - the Mythical Beasts!
Episodes air every Wednesday at 9 am PT/Noon ET
"Buddy System is the story of the very existence of Good Mythical Morning being threatened by our co-ex-girlfriend from high school, who is now an infomercial queen. And then the crazy adventure that we have to go on to get Good Mythical Morning back. This adventure may or may not include a song in every episode, me [Rhett] getting branded, me [Link] getting tased, a rollerskater/rollerblader gang fight, us singing a barbershop quartet with out clones, a magicician who does real magic, and possibly a talking exercise bike."
Buddy System has also been confirmed to be aired on YouTube Red. For more discussion and explanation from Rhett and Link about the choice of YouTube Red, please see their detailed post on Tumblr: http://rhettandlink.tumblr.com/post/146379382022/buddysystem
Also, here is the announcement as it happened at Vidcon 2016 -- skip to 8:26:39 of the broadcast video!

P.S. - - too bad that the Brain Candy Live show will only be in Dallas on one Sunday.
I'd definitely pay the $86 for a ticket to see these two guys!
re: my last recent comment on this tread
After today's GMM episode, I jumped onto the Vsauce channel and watched a couple videos including the one free "teaser" episode of Mind Field from the YouTube Red service. Too bad this series was not playing while I had the paid subscription, as I probably would have kept it for at least a couple more months. Today, not going to re-join YouTube Red just to look around again, but I have become an instant Vsauce fan.
Gumbo/Kevin - In my opinion, probably the biggest benefit of YouTube Red is that it includes access to unlimited streaming music on Google Play Music. Also, if I understand correctly, YTR gives you the ability to download videos to watch offline later -- probably handiest for people who are traveling or anticipate being in areas of spotty connection but want to prepare ahead and download videos to watch.
@Gumbo I'm in the same boat with YouTube Red, and I haven't found anything that's worth the monthly payment once Buddy System finishes. I'm hoping there's "Why are you leaving?"-type questionnaire when cancelling so I can let them know the only reason I started paying (hopefully inspiring them to commission more R&L content).
Is it really "the last episode" or just the end of R&LBS Season 1?
I'm anticipating a huge cliff hanger at the end of Episode #8.
As a side note, I'll have a couple of weeks paid on this month of YouTube Red . . . can anyone suggest anything (other than blocking advertisement) that makes it worthwhile keeping? I searched for a while and sampled several other series, but don't find anything that justifies the continued cost.
Can't believe we are coming up on the last episode this week.
Rhett and Link held a livestream viewing party last night of the first 2 episodes of Buddy System, along with Q&A. The recording of the livestream is still available to watch, but you won't see it on their channel page because it's unlisted...you can find it here! https://youtu.be/vhzU81fM2cw
Thanks for the response Victoria! I'll keep my eyes out =)
I got YTR just for the show and well worth it!!!! I watched it this morning with my nephew and now I'm watching it for the third time today!! I am still laughing my butt off!!!!!!!! Love that Stevie also produced it too!!! They need to make a full length movie!
