Google has instated a new protocol for Chrome that marks all websites using "HTTP" at the front rather than "HTTPS" as insecure sites and gives you a warning about them. HTTP is still rather common for websites, and it's true that it doesn't secure data the way HTTPS does, but the Kommunity poses no greater risk to you than any other, common HTTP website. Hope that helps!
I read your comment about the Komm being supposedly "insecure" to your copy of Google Chrome, and I think it's just freaking out and making the Komm out to be virus-ridden and infected, but I could be wrong and it's actually something serious...hope this gets solved for you. :)
