    I had missed this reference to "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner" and just realized what it was when watching it with the Mythical Meeting group. Props to Rhett for bringing it up, but bonus points to Link for specifying the albatross being "draped around his neck", although that implies Link would have killed Rhett... (Sorry, I wrote a long paper about "The Mariner" last semester)
