Wow, that was cool

Here's a shot of the "LIVE" studio audience.

11 out of 12 <- - - I'm not too sure about that guy on the far end of the front row.

Watch carefully at the end of the episode during the HOTTERMELON game - - ->  13!

Worth the wait! I'm glad everything is coming together for them.

My only criticism is that it seemed like the shot was framed a little too far out when they were talking at the table. I know this is to show more of the set in the background (which looks good) but personally I wish it would be a little closer.

Could you figure out what the big black thing with the brass strip along the bottom was behind them? (Dead centre in the background behind Rhett and Link) was it a lampshade? a stove hood?

I didn't mind the framing, but something about the lighting behind them bugged me - they each had a thin glowing edge around their shoulders and hair due to reflecting light, which kept making it look like the background had been greenscreened on, which it clearly wasn't based on later portions of the show.

Did anyone else notice the shelf behind Link's left shoulder?

Lots of hot glue was used in this project.

Yeah, I noticed that too

Good thing they left the fish tank right side up!

I didn't notice that the first time I watched it and then I was watching it with my mom later, and I was like..wait, why is everything upside down on the shelves? xP

The show was great. I especially loved the "Have You Ever" music video and the guys' funny faces while looking for the buzzing sound in the "Ear Wax Troll" bit.

The Fine Bros. seemed to have no trouble with the speech jammer! I tried the speech jammer in Garageband with my family and found that I had no issue with it either, while my husband and relatives found it very difficult to speak. I wonder why that is!?

I wonder if the context of using the speech jammer affects its impact. That is, you have a different mindset when focusing on a competition than when sitting back and telling a story, and I wonder if the additional focus/adrenaline made it easier to ignore what they were hearing. 'Cause even Rhett didn't seem to have a hard time this time, and he's been stymied by it before.

So, I'm not totally sold on TMS yet, but I *did* appreciate the return of Rusty and Larnold (who I *just* now realized have the same first initials as Rhett and Link, but swapped *facepalm*), even though they weren't quite as funny as their spanner or father's day skits, and I greatly enjoyed Tawkward, especially Link's donkey impression (awkward stuttering never gets old, apparently).

FYI (and you probably already know this but I'll post it anyway to help educate the younger members)- - Rusty Barefoot Jr. and Larnold Jernigan Jr. - - - Rhett and Link's redneck "cousins" - - - were part of the R&L character repertoire in the earlier Kotula's sponsored series and in the Freelance Fireworks Hall of Fame video before the Uncles made their debut in the Father's Day Advice segment.

As the juniors, Rhett was Rusty and Link was Larnold - - - but they swapped as the senior members so they could do the Father's Day segments.  And it's been the same since then.

Personally, I'm waiting for the day when it's revealed that the kids were switched at birth due to a hospital record keeping mix-up.  Either that or there was a really wild weekend camping trip involving the two Uncles,  Aunt Ruthie Barefoot and Aunt Laurie Jernigan . . . a topic that is never discussed at family reunions.
