What was your first car?

Earlier this week I bought my first car! Up to this point I have been driving one of my parents' cars. This got me thinking, what was the first car you guys purchased? If you have yet to buy a car, what was the first car you had driven regularly?

The car I just bought was a 2004 Suzuki Grand Vitara. (I'm still really excited about getting it, can ya tell?)

I'm an old dude, so mine was a 1968 Plymouth Fury III - - - > it was already 10 yrs old when I got it and in horrific condition. Looked a lot like the photo below, only replace all the shiny parts with rust and bondo, lose two of the hubcaps, increase the size of that oil spot on the ground at least 3x and hang a GOLD door on the front passenger side due to a T-bone collision in the high school parking lot.

4-doors are WAAAAAY cooler than 2, right?

Well I haven't bought my own car..apparently my parents bought me a car. I say apparently because I don't feel like it's mine since I didn't buy it. (I'm weird like that). It's a Toyota Rav

But the first car I drove was a Hyundai Accent (or Accident, as my dad calls it) :P

I know how you feel. Technically my first car was a Ford Focus that my parents bought me for my 21st birthday, then due to a series of events they needed it back and I was switched between two other cars. None of those other cars ever really felt like mine.

I just bought my first car recently, too (on Presidents' Day)...it's been a long time coming. I've never had a car of my own and was completely vehicle-less through college. I just bought a new 2013 Kia Rio EX. :D

Mine was a 2006 Audi A4. It was black and in less than three days, I had to replace a tire because I felt like Burning Rubber. Man, I felt stupid. And still do. -_- I sold it to a friend of mine about four years ago. Currently, I down(up) graded to a 1981 DeLorean DMC-12. I have to say, I like the DeLorean better, even though the brakes are horrible. Probably because I think it's epic.

My first car was a 1999 Pontiac Grand AM (used, 2 door, light blue). I saved up all my money from working at McDonalds and in grocery stores during high school (I worked 2 jobs all through high school) and bought it in grade 12. I was the first of my friends to own a car, which was both cool and horrible, since EVERYONE hit me up for rides constantly. I loved that car and drove it into the ground pretty much (all the warning lights on the dash were lit up the day I traded it in towards a new car).
For those of you thinking about getting a 2 door... don't ever do it. The doors are like the size of airplane wings so you can't park in small parking spots. Even if your car fits, you can't get the darn doors open wide enough to get out! SO frustrating!
