It was YOUR mythical suggestions that led to the terms "mythical beast" and the Kommunity mascot's name, "The Randler."

I really like Gumbo's suggestion of Belvedere.

For some reason Beatrice came to mind, too. Probably cause it also ends with 'trice.' Or maybe some gender-neutral name like Fluffy.

Has anyone suggested Chanticleer? Maybe that's too obvious a name. Perhaps Rheginald, which sounds a bit pompous.

As for a random choice, I like the sound of Monday the cockatrice.

"Ignacio" loosely translates to "fire" in Spanish.
"Miu" means "beautiful feather" in Japanese.
"Gryphon" means "mythological beast"! Origin: Greek : )

Nice. "Ignacio" is a contender (even though I still like the randomness of a name like "Monday").
