In my case, I just signed up for the Steampunk convention happening in Missouri. I waffled on it, but I've been looking forward to it since I first heard about it over a year ago. Bought our tickets recently, and I CAN'T WAIT!!!
I don't know if I'm going to do costumes or not, but it sounds like a blast.

Do I have to choose just one? I am looking forward to having a new niece or nephew in April, and college graduation in May (except that's a little scary...)

I don't know much about Steampunk, but it sounds like you're gonna have a great time!
I will be attending a Weezer concert sometime in the near future in Boston. I was supposed to go in December but it was canceled due to a bus crash that left the lead singer injured, thankfully he's recovered and they should be back in the Summer :) super excited for this, it'll be my first live concert.
I'm also excited for Weezer's re-issue of their album Pinkerton and their compilation album of unreleased material hopefully happening this Spring, Rivers Cuomo's solo Japanese album (hopefully!), and of course for their music video with Rhett & Link :P
Besides that I'm excited for Alice In Wonderland, as well as a PGA golf tournament I will be volunteering for in the late Summer.

Steampunk is awesome!! I wish I lived closer to Missouri, cuz I would totally be there. ^^
It would be really cool if you did make a costume, but steampunk can get really expensive...Trust me, I've wanted to do one for a long time now. >/body>

As for me, I'm intrigued by the Alice in Wonderland movie after the recent "Alice" remake by Sci Fi's crew. Really intriguing to see how they're going to re-work the storyline for Burton and Depp, you know?

But the pants fit TOO well! I was going to rip open the stitching from a pair of men's pants and put buttons down the sides, but now I don't know WHAT to do! XD Oh, well... worst case scenario- I wear the jacket and make a few accessories. Right?

Hmm, not entirely sure what Steampunk is, but I hope you have fun!
The thing I'm looking forward to is exactly ONE month (I've been waiting for a long time so that is important to me, haha) away. I'm going to see Bon Jovi in concert! They're my absolute favorite band, and not only that, but it will be the first concert I've ever been to. I'm sooo excited! :]

Lowlands
for those who dont know what that is;
its an music event in the Netherlands and a lot of international artists are gonna be there.
Three days in the summer, camping on a field with live music all around you. Rumour is KISS is gonna perform. ^^
