More BBQ Ignorance!

Most fans of Rhett and Link know that R&L are obsessed with eating BBQ and not going to BBQ's. Today I saw Burger Kings new commercial for their NEW BBQ items and the people in the several of the different commercials one person suggests "lets have a BBQ" and i wanna know what the mythical Kreatures of the Kommunity think of it

I tried one of the Memphis pulled pork sandwiches - - well, about 2 1/2 bites of one - -

NASTY ! ! ! You have been warned!

See the pics below to compare the "official" BK image with what one online reviewer found when he bit into one. The pitiful excuse for food that I got was no better.

Personally, I think the City of Memphis should file suit to protect their good name.

Give me a McRibs any day over that slop.

Ew. I love pulled pork, but that looks awful. I agree! Memphis really should tell BK to take their good name off of it.

I don't think this has reached Ohio yet, so I haven't seen the commercial.

I haven't seen the commercial, but I have a hard time believing any FAST food restaurant could make good BBQ. BBQ is supposed to be cooked slowly, besides the fact that any fast food pales in comparison to homemade or nicer restaurant versions!

There's a YT channel called SourceFed...in one of their recent videos about the 4th of July, one of the speakers said something about the holiday having morphed into being mostly about "having barbeques," etc. I left a comment directing them to R&L's BBQ song.

Just doing my civic duty.
