My little brother showed me the Drive Thru Folk Song, and at first I was only mildly interested, but I thought their lyrics were clever, and their harmonies surprisingly sweet. By the end of the video I was chuckling appreciatively. A few weeks later he showed me the Facebook Song, which definitely impressed me in how witty it was. After that I started checking the rest of their stuff out myself, and I began to learn just how amazing it all is. Endless laughter, endless merriment. By the Great American Roadtrip I was hooked. It's so awesome to come across people with witty, clean senses of humor, who don't stoop to the common level, but rather are always coming up with new inventive, imaginative, whimsical ideas to internetain us. Thanks guys, you rock!
One of my friends showed me one of their videos, which was the 'Shamwow Song' a few weeks after it was released. I watched some of their other stuff, and I became a fan. I feel kind of silly writing so little about this, when everyone else around me is writing like full paragraphs, and such... But I really don't remember much from back then.
I actually saw them in one of their Great American Road Trip videos, and i was like, "..... That was awesome. I wonder if all their stuff is like this?" And then i looked all of their vids up... i thought their clean humor was hilarious, and so i watched all of them over again... i always get a kick out of them... they never get old!
i found rhett and link on a web site and i searched it up on youtube and got hooked
I found Rhett and Link by accident while searching for instruction for making homeade fireworks! Now I have to type with my toes however.
My mom told me about the Shamwow commercial she saw on TV. When I was bored in my dorm and avoiding my homework, I looked Rhett and Link up on google. What I found was some of the most hilarious stuff. I started telling people I knew and listening to the songs while working. Now I know how to spend my free time and spread the joy. Thanks.
On YouTube!
Someone had posted their song "Maine Man" on a blog which I was reading, I was hooked instantly.
The news in my country (denmark) had something about facebook. The facebook song was used, and i was like "hey! it sounds good!" and so, i checked youtube and subscribed! :D
I just discovered Rhett and Link a month or so ago, when their Cullman Liquidation video was featured on todaysbigthing.com. Their web address popped up, and since the video stuck my fancy, I decided to check more out. The rest is history.
How did I find Rhett and Link?

Jory Caron and Jonny Paula promote R&L just about every Thursday on their Live Cast on USTREAM just before the R&L Live Kast. So, I figured that if my favorite YouTubers think that highly of R&L, then it would be worth checking them out.
Wow, cool story! You related to Jory Caron then? I'm not familiar with that YouTube/Ustream channel but just curious.
