Home of Rhett & Link fans - the Mythical Beasts!

OK, we all know that R&L songs have some great lines...but are what are your favorite one-liners from other artist's songs?

Here's mine:

from "Ike's Rap" by Isaac Hayes: "I can't even watch the Beverly Hills Cop! The VCR is gone!!!"
(It's a completely serious song; he's "singing" to his lady friend who can't give up crack....yet I bust up laughing every time I hear that line.)

and from "Waiting for my real life to begin" by Colin Hay: "When I awoke today, suddenly nothing happened." (sums up the feeling of knowing that someday, you are destined for something...but not just yet.)

So does anyone else have any lines that they want to share? Do they hit you on a certain emotional level?

I have a few, but one that comes to mind is: "Every morning it's a battle just to wake up." I can't remember who it's by though...
Mhm...I really like

"...Step off the edge, never worry 'bout the fall..." from Great Big Sea's 'Consequence Free' (I know! But I'm Canadian, eh? :)). The name is pretty self-explanitory.

and

"Teach me how to kneel...when I don't know how to feel..." from 'Reach that Far' by 11T7. It's the realization that you can't do it on your own, but you aren't supposed to in the first place.
Here are a few of mine

Every Time I Die - Wanderlust: "If life is pointless, then point taken."
The Bled - Like Porcelain Hearts and Hammers For Teeth: "I'd burn alive to keep you warm."
Cold - Wasted Years: "Was I life I betrayed for the shape that I'm in?"
Every Time I Die - Ebolarama: "When in Rome we shall do as the romans, when in hell we do shots at the bar"
The Devil Wears Prada - Hey John Whats Your Name Again: "Well it must be difficult, beeing so gorgeous"
Our Last Night - Timing Is Everything "Keep your hands on my chest and wait for a beat"
Just a couple off the top of my head:

Hobbit On the Rocks by Toad The Wet Sprocket - "Talk to the man if you feel he needs talking to" ... "Talk to yourself if you feel you need talking to."

Good People by Matt Mays - "Your eyes ain't bright if your mind is dim."

Pedal To the Medal by Kazzer - "It doesn't matter what you drive it's how you drive what you got."
My favorite is " I set my clocks early because I know I'm always late" I cant remember who it's by.
Here are a few I really like:

Bon Jovi - Live Before You Die: "You learn to love to live, you fight and you forgive, you face the darkest night, just live before you die."
Lenka - The Show: "It's too much, yeah it's a lot to be something I'm not."
Bon Jovi - Someday I'll Be Saturday Night: "Hey, man I'm alive I'm takin' each day and night at a time. I'm feeling like a Monday but someday I'll be Saturday night."
Phil Collins - You'll Be In My Heart: "Why can't they understand the way we feel? They just don't trust what they can't explain."
Michael Jackson - Man In The Mirror: "If you want to make the world a better place take a look at yourself and make a change."
two of my favorite lines are from the band Powderfinger:
Sunsets-"maybe it's gonna be breaking you everytime you fall." (i maybe wrong but i think this song is about the lead singer's late brother who died from cancer)
Poison In Your Mind-"it's crashing down around you now and poisoning in your mind" this part of the song is my favorite :)

and last but not least:
Blitzen Trapper-"Your eyelids are made of lead, you can't keep them up 'cause it's sleepy time. and that's no crime in the Western World"
this part of the song is awesome in the intro :D
