Mac vs PC

The historical interweb battle between two computers.

As we all know from watching the live Rhett & LinKAST(s), they (like most "internetainers") use Mac laptops.

Here, feel free to let everyone know what type of computer you have, your reasons for choosing that specific computer, and the pros/cons of Mac and/or PC. Let the fight begin!

I'm a PC because I can't afford a Mac.

I would LOVE to be able to get a mac, but alas they are too expensive and being a 15 year old with no job doesn't help.

I may get one when I start college, but I'm not exactly sure.

Actually, I use both. I prefer the Mac for my videos, pics, music, art work...I use the PC when I just want to do something on Microsoft Office (I don't always like to use parallels). I think the Mac is better though.

Mac for music recording, other than that PC all the way.

I'm a PC user at the moment.
I love Apple products and all, but I don't necessarily think the price tag is worth the product. The computers are nice, and I'd probably buy one if I had the funds, but the fact that Apple doesn't buy into the whole open source thing leaves you with a pretty limited set of options for your upgrades and such.

I 'had' to get a Mac when I started college. The software I needed wasn't compatible with any other PC, but I really don't have a preference.

I just got a Mac. It's my first but I wanted something my daughter could use for school (first grade) Macs parental controls are easier to understand and set up. Plus the one button mouse works better for lefties. Besides The Macs are so pretty and shiny and the guy at the Mac store was way nicer than the other store.
