Home of Rhett & Link fans - the Mythical Beasts!

Most of us are eventually going to get married, and have kids. And eventually, just like Link- you're gonna have to choose a name for them. SO, what would you like name YOUR kids? (CHOOSE ONE FOR EACH GENDER)

Even if you don't ever want kids, what would you name them if you had to?

A Boy= Stephen.
There are allot of great Stephens/Stevens:
Spielberg. Jobs. Hillenburg. Colbert. King.

A Girl= Zelda.
No need for explanation.
Oooh, great idea for a discussion, Dan! I must admit, I have never put any thought into this at all because I highly doubt I will be having children any time soon, but I'll think of something now lol...If I had a girl, I would probably name her Linnea, just because I've always thought that was a nice name. If I had a boy, I would probably name him Jonathan, and Jon for short.
Hmmm... kinda depends on the last name of the gentlman I marry... which isn't going to happen anytime soon... but anyway...

Boy: Liam David... I really like the name David. And Judah.... hmmm... I'd like to incorporate a Judah in there somewhere... will have to mull on that for a while.
Girl: Kaylen Paisley, or Lora Ann, and I also like the name Elanor.
Girl - Kylie Ann [it's a combination of both my grandmother's names!]

Boy - Jonathan Daniel (John for short) ['John' is in honor of my older brother that passed away before I was born, and 'Daniel' after my Dad, Dan!]

I love these names because they have a meaning behind them. :)
Well, I've got one at the moment. Her name is Holly Madelyn. I'm liking the name Oakley Jane if I ever have another girl. I don't have a middle name picked out for a boy yet, but am I crazy for liking the name Obadiah (Obi for short)?
Teresa, I have always liked the name Paisley as a first name! I forgot about that one.

As an answer to those who name their kids after cities in Texas, I'm going to name mine after cities in Tennessee. Smyrna, Murfreesboro, Tullahoma, maybe even Cookeville. Something along those lines, anyway.
I've been picking out baby names since I was a little girl. hahaha... Of course, nothing I chose back then is anywhere on my list now. Here are my current favorites:

Girls:
Evvy (book character's name)
Hazel Marguerite (My great-grandmother's name)

Boys:
Cai (book character's name)

I don't really have any favorites other than those, so I suppose I'll come up with them as I go! I'm not even close to being married right now anyhow, so it's not like I'm in a big hurry.
I have a 7th grade girl in my choir whose name is Paisley. She is sooooo adorable! Good choice in name!

This makes me smile, because last night me and my friends were just talking about this. It seems girls always think about names that they like, no matter how old they are.
The girl names I really like are Bernadette, Esther and Lacey. And the guy names I like are Samuel (Sam for short), Elijah, and Athen. I haven't thought much about middle names, except I'd like Thomas or Aaron in honor of my friend who passed away or Anthony, which is my dad's middle name. I haven't thought of any middle name for a girl.
These are just names that I like. Whether or not I get married and have children I'm not sure yet. That's a long way in the future though, hopefully.
Hmmm...It really depends, for me it's going to be at least 7 years off in the distance...
But...I think I'd name my daughter: Annabelle or Annalise Jane ......and this is where I need a man...
And as for the boy, it really depends on my husbands name, but, I like the name Adam, Benjamin and Joseph, and Daniel, so I got lots of options there :)

and I'm guessing there will be a LOT more than just two kids...:):) I also need a man for that part of the ordeal :)
Well, good. Daniel's a good name, haha.
Yeah, sorry, I'm legally bound to make that joke.
