I notice there's sometimes some low-level bickering that you guys are cool enough to share with us when we're watching you live. Not surprising for two guys who have known each other as long as you have, really. While you sometimes seem really ticked with one another, neither of you ever goes all Christian Bale on the other one. So, I'm wondering, are there code words, non-verbal signals, stuff like that you've worked out over the years to get your points across without knocking each others' lights out when you disagree?

our bickering is most always due to one or both of us just being ill or frustrated...creative disagreements don't really lead to fights...bad attitudes usually are the culprit. i guess that's a good thing. your thoughts?

The thing that has repeatedly impressed me is that you guys never seem to escalate past a mild bickering phase...and that one of you tends to make a light-hearted, diffusing statement to bring you both out of it and back to either the job at hand or to entertaining your audience. Being an Italian originally from New York, I'm just not sure I would always be able to muster that kind of cooperative spirit, especially in a creative environment. So, essentially, I'm giving you props here.
having a chance to see this in person its like brothers each one has a point they want to make and so once they can see that the other at least understands what the other is suggesting they go back to what they were doing its honestly a great work environment and i have never seen it happen and not produce GREAT results they bicker so that we can have maximum enjoyment out of a video ... thats just my two cents tho (as seen thru the eyes of an intern)
