You know, I don't even remember how I found them. Just stumbled across them in the YouTubes and proceeded to watch videos on their channel for hours. I believe it was sometime at the end of 2008? Maybe?

I've been spreading the Rhett & Link joy with my family and friends ever since!
I met them in person when they came to my college's Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) gathering. That was three years ago. I thought they were funny and entertaining but honestly, I didn't really comprehend who there were (or should I say who they could be). I then rediscovered them not too long ago but I don't remember where or how. But anyway. They were AWESOME "live."
My friend Shoshi showed me the Shamwow song and I looked at all their other stuff and got hooked.
A couple of years ago, my son and I had won a Major League baseball Video Contest. So we thought that we would have a chance at the new Baby Ruth Video Contest. We watched a few video samples from Baby Ruth and I saw these two Goth looking guys and I must confess I said, "Who the heck are these two clowns?" I was not impressed.

Then a few months later I stumbled across one of the Alka - Seltzer Great American Road Trip videos, on YouTube. I think I set a record for most videos watched in a row. I laughed hysterically at each one of those videos and at one point I think I may have soiled myself.

Later I discovered that those "two clowns" were Rhett and Link. I now publicly confess my ignorance and stupidity and confess that Rhett and Link are creative geniuses. I love these guys...in a comedic love kinda way!

I discovered them about five months ago (phew, how the time flies!), and how I didn't find them sooner is a mystery to me! I guess it all really started when my brother came for a visit once, and he introduced me to the Barats&Bereta "Bible in a Minute" video. I thought it was pretty funny, so I checked out some of their other work. While browsing through one of their pages, I saw they had a link entitled "Favorite Video of the Week". I clicked on it, and it turned out to be Rhett and Link's "American Idol Theme Song"!!! I LOVED it and thought it was like nothing else I'd seen before, so I went on a search for what other stuff they may have created. The next one I watched was the "Pimp My Stroller" video, and I nearly fell out of my seat from laughing so hard!! After that, I was totally hooked and the rest remains history!! :D
I found them through my wonderful daughter who dragged me to Ohio a few weeks ago to see them in person. It was a wonderful time. I really enjoyed the show and meeting them. Thank you, Steph.
w00t! Steph's mom is here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hi!
The Phatdippin' Rap. I found AlphaCat on YouTube because of the election hype, and at the end it said check out Rhett and Link's videos. For a while I watched and rewatched all their YouTube videos, then finally hopped on the snowplow on their home page, and life has never been the same since!! I downloaded their songs and now I sing R&L in my car! Their songs are so catchy and melodic! I started watching all the LiveKast videos in reverse chronological order, and finally started joining the live ones as they occurred. My husband thinks I'm obsessed! (I am). But guess who's singing R&L songs to me now...my husband! He is my Maine Man!! Hehehehe. Wish I had good video or audio equip to join in the CBE, but I'll enjoy watching what you all put together and blogging along the way.

My husband does the SAME THING LOL

Wednesday, July 16, 2008. I just found the entry posted on Terry's "Bent Objects" blog.

I watched Terry's blog because it was one of Blogger's Blogs of Note at one point, and his artwork was interesting. Then he blogged about Rhett and Link and their chili cook-off, part of the Great American Road Trip. That was the first video I saw. I thought it was kind of weird, but it was interesting. Then I watched the Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles song, and that's what hooked me. I couldn't get it out of my head.

At first, I thought the Road Trip videos were some kind of cable show on the Food Network!
I had to do a mockumentary for school and I choose to do mine about facebook. I didn't have a soundtrack so I googled facebook song and I found Rhett and Link's song. It was hilarious so I spent the rest of class looking through all their videos!
I THINK I found them on New Years day when I was looking for New Years Resolution songs and found...the New Years Resolution song. =)
