Do you talk to yourself?

Many human beings are very talkative, especially amongst themselves. Do you speak with yourself? If so, what do you like to talk about?

I repeat things in a funny voice while watching TV sometimes, as if mocking the person on TV... even if by myself. If a sarcastic person is sarcastic and nobody is around to hear it, is it sarcasm? xD

I come from a big family but recently I moved to college and now live by myself. So I miss talking and hearing people talk. So, yeah, I talk to myself occasionally. Usually it's to go into scolding fits in which I chew myself out about something.

Yes. Just whatever's happening. Like, if I do something wrong, or whatever. Really random. I don't have conversations with my self but I mutter to myself. lol I talk to myself in my head 24/7 and this may sound weird but sometimes when I'm by myself, I just talk them instead of thinking them just to hear my self say it. ???? KInd of. lol

I do this thing where I start creating a scenario in my head, and start creating a dialogue between me and well...me, and it's all in my head for a while until at one point, without noticing it, I'm actually talking out loud.

I do this to help me solve problems I have, I can spend hours talking to myself, seriously hours, and I usually come up with some pretty good answers for my troubles, it's my way of getting into my subconscious like real good and dig until I find out what the fuck is wrong with me, and this is why I never ask for help really... I do it all in my head...

And like Madeline, they're all mainly philosophical shit I can't think and solve at the same time, I have to get it out and actually say it for it to make complete sense and to understand every bit of it. I realize it's a weird thing to do.. but ya know... whatever...

I do the same thing as BananaAnna. I'm sure it would sound ridiculous is someone heard me. "Oh my gosh, why am I putting that in the microwave? I don't know, why are you putting that in the microwave? I really don't know, I guess I'm just going crazy. Let's take it out and put it in the pantry, where it belongs." All in a British accent, of course.

I talk to myself especially if I'm trying to concentrate on something that I plan or try to solve something and my mind just keeps on getting distracted by some irrelevant thoughts.

While jogging or just going from one place to another whether I'm walking or driving I might sing to myself about the things that are going through my mind or the things that are happening around me. Silly, but who cares. It's healthy habit I have heard. Talking alone, don't know about the singing :)

I talk to myself....alot. It's usually a pep talk or reassurance. Or if I'm P.Oed, I'll fume to myself.

I'm also famous for talking to the tv. I get all mad at the tv often.

i often like talk to my self "in my mind"

like 1 time i "talked" too myself how it would be to have another me as a friend, it came out that that would be very awesome cuz i mean - i already "talk" with myself! :)
