How did YOU find Rhett and Link??

too funny i was just talking to someone about this the other day and i honestly cant tell you how i found the guys but i thank the lord i did because now look where it had taken me...i have been part of the community since the first show the guys ever did...and Rhett and Link have brought my fiance and I together as well :)

I'm not very adventurous when it comes to exploring YouTube. Especially with all the unpleasant content floating out there. It takes some serious convincing to make me a fan of anything. So this is kind of a long story. A friend of mine introduced me to Julian Smith's videos. After finally acclimating me to them, he left me to browse. I found the waffles video. It stuck in my head and I eventually showed it to my little sister. She said, "What did he did he just call that guy?" I responded, "Link ... I think." I replayed it and, yes, they were calling each other "Rhett" and "Link." Funny names. But it wasn't enough to send me looking for their stuff. It was, however, enough for me to recognize them when another friend hit like on 2 Guys 600 Pillows. I enjoyed that video as well and replayed it several times. Time passed. Finally, about a week ago, yet another friend linked me to FAIL Caption. I laughed so hard I cried. The next day, I watched it again and laughed so hard I cried. On the third day, I watched it again, laughed so hard I cried, and decided it was time to look into these guys' work. But I still wasn't will to trust them enough to simply browse their videos. So I did some recon on Google and Wiki. In the Wiki article the phrase "What's In The Bible" caught my attention. I recognized Phil Vischer's series so I got on YouTube and found the Fabulous Bentley Brothers. At that point I decided, "If these guys are involved in this, I can probably trust them." So I went to their channel and began to browse. I'm VERY happy I did.

About a year ago, I introduced my grandkids to JellyTelly.  My absolute favorite part of each episode was the Fabulous Bentley Brothers; they were so talented, and I knew there had to be more to their story!!  A simple google search led me to RhettandLink, where I spent every spare minute of the next week watching every video I could get my hands on . . . and laughing hysterically!!  My husband thought I was nuts until I shared the Spanner "commercials" with him; now, his favorite daily comment is, "The Spanner:  pee so big it hurts!!"  I have created a (mythical) monster!

I'd heard of Jelly Telly recently (is it the same guys that did Veggie Tales?), but didn't know that Rhett and Link were involved. I'll have to go check it out now. :) It just goes to show that good humor can span generations without stooping to "low" levels.

JellyTelly is the creation of one of the guys from Veggie Tales (Phil Vischer).  He has produced a dvd series entitled "What's in the Bible with Buck Denver", and although the series is for kids, it will definitely hold an adult's interest!  So far, each dvd has covered a segment of the Old Testament---it sounds like it would be dry and boring, but trust me, they tackle some TOUGH subjects and issues.  Rhett and Link's contribution to the series is OUTSTANDING!!!  Their songwriting talent is just phenomenal!!  And I agree with your last comment wholeheartedly!!!  I love the fact that I can share ANY of Rhett and Link's videos with my grandchildren AND my husband!!

Well kind of random actually, my brother showed me "Red House" because his crazy best friends showed him. Now we've all got inside jokes from that video. Later, my best friend introduced me to Julian Smith videos because someone in her class introduced her to them. After watching a few videos I saw "Waffles" which featured RhettandLink, turns out it became my favorite video of that his collection. Then in the Related Videos column was "The Perfect Bathroom Trip." At first I thought Julian had made it because his face was on the thumbnail but nope, it was an original Rhett and Link music video amazingness. I cracked up because when I was little my Mom always made sure I followed the same rules theses guys sang about. After showing it to my Mom she told me, "ya those are the same guys that did Red House."  I thought NO WAY!? So I checked out some of the other mythical beastly videos and became a HUGE fan of Rhett and Link!!! :D And thanks to the "GMCL" I continued to become a bigger fan each day I saw the new video :)

Found them January 2011.  My BFF sent me an e-mail with the message 'two taco salads for our senoritas!' and a link. I clicked the link, which took me to Fast Food Folk Song at the Taco Bell Drive-Thru. It was hilarious, original, amazing...everything I love in a video. I then watched a bunch of their videos...and now I'm hooked.

I found Rhett and Link because of Julian Smith actually. They were in one of his videos so I checked them out.  NOW I'M HOOKED!

i never really new them till vidcon. then ray william johnson did the "joke" insult. and olgakay had the shoes. so then i looked into them. and fell in  love, and nao i am a mythical beast (ninjasnail)
