how did you guys come up with the idea to make a maine man songg? me and my sister figured you were from maine but then found out you're from north carolina. the mainerr song is great :D

I don't know all the details, but  I know that song was part of the Great American Road Trip series that Alka-Seltzer sponsored them to go on.  Basically they went to a bunch of different cities across America and made videos that had something to do with food.  You can see all the videos that were part of that series at www.speedysroadtrip.com.  BTW, I agree.  Maine Man is one of my favorites!

Sarah is correct - - - Maine Song . . .  also known as I Wanna Be Your Maine Man . . . was part of a 20-part video series created for Alka Seltzer and titled the GREAT AMERICAN ROAD TRIP SERIES.  The guys started in San Diego (CA) and ended in Maine, traveling cross country in the Speedymobile.  You can also view the entire series at the following link on RhettandLink.com (just click on the Road Trip Series tab)

 . . . by the way, the very first R&L video that I ever saw was BBQ Song which was also a part of this series.
