I was watching vines, then ten minutes later i was watching some of their videos
A video was in the recommended section of my youtube. My fiancée and I watched it and we were hopked! We have been watching for 3 days so far. Lol

As a fan of Ed Bassmaster I watched the bank commercial they did with Ed. That led me to some of their other commercials posted on Youtube. From there I found GMM (the bug eating challenge). From then on I and my whole family have been hooked on Rhett and Link!

It all started in September or October of 2014 when I decided to watch the livestream of Youtube Fanfest where I lived. I wasn't much into youtube at that time and the only channel I really watched was NigaHiga. I had watched Youtube fanfest for him as well as a few others such as Vsauce, but soon grew curious of who the other enthusiastic, lively youtube personalities were. One of them who really intrigued me was iiSuperwomanii so after the youtube fanfest ended, I decided to check out her channel.

While skimming through her videos, I noticed a channel which had about 5 million subscribers under a list titled 'recommended channels' on the side. I found it rather curious that I had never heard of this channel nor the duo who hosted it. And so I decided to click on one of their videos.

My very first impression of the two hosts of the show were that they were those 'fake' kind of people, such as some interviewers or hosts,  who script every single line they speak and redo it if they got it wrong. I felt that the flow was to smooth to be unscripted. I watched a few more episodes and my dislike for these two people grew stronger. I initially found them annoying because of how much they would talk and never get around to discussing the main topic of the video or even addressing it until halfway through the video. I used to skip the beginnings until they began talking about the main topic but whenever I attempted to do that, I would end up confused because they would lightly touch on the main topic whilst talking about something else. This irked me so I decided to start watching from the beginning of the video all the way to the end so as to not miss anything, including the intro which I thought was pretty cool.

The more I forced myself to watch their videos all the way through, the more I realised how funny and interesting their conversations were! As time passed by, I found myself watching a lot more of their channel, good mythical morning, and more songs and sketches made by the duo, whom I had found out were named Rhett and Link after watching a few episodes.

A year and a half later, I've labeled myself a mythical beast, having delved into the wonderful world of the kommunity, watching every episode of Good Morning Chia Licoln, nearly every episode of gmm, song, sketch and any other content by Rhett&Link.

I've made gmm a part of my daily routine and I look forward to watching it every day. I feel that it's helped me grow as a person and it's also really nice being part of the kommunity!! I absolutely love R&L's personalities and adore the close bond they share with one another.

I'm glad I found out about Rhett and Link :)

I found them pretty recently, May 21 2016. Even though i just discovered them , I am in love. They make me laugh every single morning :)

I saw the "Butt drugs" and "shift it" commercial and just like that, I was hooked with their facetiousness. Link usually use this word by the way. XD

I think the first thing I ever saw of Rhett and Link content was the Chuck Testa commercial, though back then I had no idea they were behind it. After that I just kept running into funny viral videos from them, and then I saw them featured on "Youtubers React" and decided to hunt down more of their content. Now I watch GMM every day when I wake up (except for weekends of course.)

I think I came across some of the videos a year or so ago. They were in my "recommended" sidebar thing. I have been watching ever since. Something about knowing there will be at least 1 interesting thing to watch through the week just makes my days a little less boring.

My friend showed me "Epic rap battle of Manliness". Instantly subscribed

I saw them collab with Rosanna Pansino.

I was really bored so I was surfing YouTube like you do, an well I just stumbled on to one of there videos. I remember it was the hair song, it made me laugh and I started watching gmm and haven't stopped since

I started watching GMM every day about 2 years ago, but I knew about them long before. I am currently homeschooled, and I had strict parents, so I was not allowed to go on YouTube until last year. Sad, right? Well, for those two years, I was hacking into YouTube- through ads on my dictionary app!! Just to watch R&L!! They never found out!! I first heard of Rhett and Link by watching them as the Fabulous Bentley Brothers when I was small. (I had thought they were super creepy, haha. But I re-watched those videos again and they are so great.) Then my best friend- who had internet- showed me GMM and I'm on Vacation, and I thought it was the best thing ever. Ever since, I have been a mythical beast 'witness'. I try to 'convert' people to mythicalism, hahaha. Well, the hacking began. Years later, after only seeing the zombie section of IOV, my dad- who is just like a louder and jollier version of Rhett- was still not in, even after I had tried to persuade him that they were basically his clones. But a few weeks ago, I hooked him. He wants to be an auctioneer someday, so I sent him the Backup Plan Auctioneers video, and he actually watched it. He basically ran into the room where me and my best friend (who showed me GMM) were hanging out. "This is awesome!" He laughed, pointing at the screen. I ditched my friend to watch with him, until mom had to make me go back and hang with my friends. We proceeded to watch GMM on the couch together a lot afterwards. My sister first thought they were stupid, but now for example, just last night she was seated beside me, laughing her head off at GMM.

Rhett and Link, I want to say thank you. My dad lost his father a few years back, and it really killed him. He cries sometimes to this day. Its not that he doesn't laugh anymore. Also, whenever I feel stressed out or depressed, you guys make me feel 100% better. But I haven't seen my dad laugh as hard as he did while we watched the Ghost Pepper Video together since my grandpa died. Thanks again.
