Home of Rhett & Link fans - the Mythical Beasts!

This might be a rather interesting conversation but I've always wondered who the Mythical Beasts thought was the better singer out of R&L. Personally, I think Link is the better singer because his voice sounds more versatile (in my opinion.) For example, whenever there is a high note in a song, Link sounds more natural whereas Rhett's high notes sounds more strained and forced (just look at the "Best Road Trip Songs" video and skip to when they sing "I Will Always Love You" if you don't believe me).

Another reason is that the one thing that Rhett's voice seems to lack (in my opinion of course) is soul. When I hear Rhett sing, I don't really feel any emotion behind it. I'm not saying he should go OTT in every single song he sings (that'd get very old, very fast) but I like my singers to actually sound like they feel the song which is exactly what Link does (just watch his version of Rolling in the Deep and you'll see what I mean)

Again, this isn't meant to bash Rhett or Link but simply give your opinion on who you think is the better singer of the two and why. So: talk away!!

He's sort of like John Oates from Hall & Oates - he rarely doesn't sing backup and/or equally with the other person of the duo.

Coincidentally, he's actually played John Oates in a music video

I think they are equal, it really depends on which type of songs they sing. Rhett is better at songs with a deeper tone and link is better at singing high

I think they are both amazing.I fell in love with Link's voice when they did the cover of "Say it aint so" <3 Which reminds me, They should do more covers, they are amazing at them.

They have such range and I cant decide.

-chuckles-

It depends

The best is when they sing together. Each has a strong point and a weak point. But when they sing a duo it sounds great.

They both are incredibly talented singers, but I love it when guys sing high and Link has a higher singing voice than Rhett, so I have to go with Link. I love both of their voices, especially when they harmonize.
