RhettandLinKommunity

Home of Rhett & Link fans - the Mythical Beasts!

I know that this is the RhettandLinKommunity, but the Grateful Dead has its 'Dead Heads,' Jimmy Buffett has 'Parrot Heads.' Not that we have to be 'Heads' of any sort, but I was wondering what Rhett and Link fans call themselves. Do we have a cool name too, or are we just fans? 'Kommies' doesn't cut it for me. Any suggestions or is there a name I don't know about?

What about "The Undisclosed"? LOL.
Scarlet&Zelda's
I second the Internetainees. Sounds a little dangerous, too.

Apologies if any of these are repeats, but I can't remember everything from the previous 12 pages of posts...

I personally enjoyed "the Internetainees"...it sounds like a name for backing vocalists.
HAHAH, I dig Rhinkers.

I was just thinking about this... because Mitchell Davis' fans are Lavaheads, Shaycarl has Shaytards.... we definitely need a name of our own. How about..... Rhinkers? Internetainees?

This is definitely a tough one!
The Internetained doesn't really roll off the tongue as good as some of the other shorter names. Not a huge fan.
Things that I have noticed after reading this entire discussion in one sitting. (I have a lot of catching up to do.)
The name that is chosen will have the following qualities/characteristics):
1. A connection to the legacy that is Internetainment.
2. A short, quip-able saying that rolls easily off the tongue.
3. A reference to something that only members or soon to be members will remember from a R&L vid

that said, choosing from the ones thrown around, i like:

Mythical beasts,
Kommuters,
and quite frankly Kommunity.

one that might work ( at least in my head,) would be the Fuzzy Mongeese. maybe. but one thing is for sure, Badgers truly do hate Mongeese.

I'm done.

Hahaha, that makes me giggle.

Hence, Internetainees. Sure, it's still the same amount of syllables, but it works much better as a part of speech.

I don't understand how Kommuters figures in with #1 on your list. It really has very little connection to the R&L Internetainment legacy.

Unfortunately I don't think we are going to be able to come to a consensus on this as a community. I would very much like it if Rhett and Link would pick which one they like the best out of what has been suggested. I don't think I'm alone in saying that if they were to settle the debate, I would gladly call myself whatever they choose. That makes it official.

Thanks for the summary Kevin, I agree with your logic. I like Mythical Beasts the best, personally.

This just popped into my head...trying for a combo, but...

"Unicornholers" just sounds wrong.

Back to the drawing board.
