It struck me that today's episode was pretty different, given that there are a lot of cutaway segments. Maybe that style will grow on me, but for now, I like the format of sticking around the oak desk and immediate background area.

However, Link's acting was spot on in the hairdresser skit. I was impressed! Though I feel like they easily could have extended that concept a bit more and made it into some content for the main channel. Wonder why they don't do little skits like that more often, since the huge-production music videos (which seem to be the only kind they're willing to make anymore) understandably take a while. It could help with the long gaps between postings, which they've said they want to avoid.

I felt the same way about the Five Nights at Freddy's sketch. I thought it had the potential to be a great main channel video. Maybe if they make 2 versions of the same sketch it could work. A shorter one for GMM and an extended version for the main channel. I'm just thinking out loud...

Just heard them mention on ear biscuits that a few of the song biscuit numbers will be getting the animated treatment some time soon - something to look forward to there, anyway!   There are so many great little sketches though, its true, that would make awesome stand-alone content, if they ever got inspired to work them up.
