CBE Audio Entry ROUNDUP (CLOSED)

Hey Everyone,

In order to be in the running for winning the Audio Entry Prize what you need to do is attach your audio entry to this discussion. I will add links to the bottom of this discussion so everyone will have one place to hear all the entries.We wouldn't want to miss your contribution because it's only on your profile page.

So here is what we are looking for

1. Your Audio entry is attached to this discussion.

2. The tags for your entry have to have CBE and 80s it can have more but those two tags need to be there EDIT: in order to "Tag" an audio entry it has to be somewhere in the title of it.

if there's any problems please leave a comment, I and the other mods are here to help and make this an enjoyable experience

That pretty much destroys me. It's like, wonderful and everything, but the musical parts of me scream at the injustice of what has been done to both parties' music. :p It works, but the Chorus for Bad was....pushing it. haha Great idea, though, man! That was awesome!

Thanks, Breanna... yeah, I think it still needs some tweaking... after giving it another listen, I realized the volume levels on some of the sections were a little off, although the Bad chorus was my favorite part of the mix...!

I'm all up in the whole Michael Jackson thing right now, having grown up with him and since he was my age and all. So, I had mixed emotions listening, Ben. Great work. I had a little trouble with the sped up vocal on Billy Jean, but the first third was my favorite.

I didn't mean pushing it in a bad way! For me, I was sitting on the edge of my seat going...is that chord going to resolve there and work? And it always did! I'm really loving all of your songs!

Thanks, Lynn. Yeah, the sped-up tempos on some of the vocals I think was a little too apparent. Working six songs into a single composition turned out to be more complicated than I had anticipated, trying to minimize the effects of tempo alteration, etc., while also staying within a three-minute time frame....

As a prize for the audio category, I had suggested that R&L make available their acappella and instrumental source files, for remixing. I wonder if they'll think it's a good idea after listening to this....
