Maryland Food Bank - Let's go get 'em!

So far, poor Memphis is missing all the fun. But not so, Maryland.

Did you know that Maryland Food Bank has a link on its website that allows you to make "tribute donations"? This doesn't necessarily mean that you donate as a tribute to someone who has died. Nope. You can do a "tribute" for anyone or any occasion. Nice thing about that is, you get to type into the tribute description box a reason for WHY you are donating.

Wouldn't it be great if Maryland Food Bank was bombarded with "tributes" from the Mythical Beasts? Here's to Rhett & Link of Good Mythical Morning! And to the wise diplomacy of Good Morning Maryland's news anchors!

Hey, Rhett DID say he oughta instigate the Mythical Beasts to go out and do something beneficial. Turns out, this hashtag war has yielded something that is just that.

For all those who meant to do this anyway, I encourage using the above link. It will allow you to type in your honoree's address. Like, say... Rhett & Link. PO Box 6578. Burbank, CA. 91510.

Maryland Food Bank sends cards to the honoree. Rhett & Link might enjoy seeing all that postal evidence that their Mythical Beasts answered the call.

Or... they might just be annoyed at the surplus of redundant mail - I'm not really sure. I don't know them that well.

Thanks for the reminder . . . a few days behind schedule but at least I got it into their system in time for a Thanksgiving dinner delivery.

A quick word of warning to anyone else who tries using that page on the food bank's site - - it requires you to fill in just about every field on the form. I even had to put a dash ( - ) in the 2nd address field of the HONOREE section in order to get it to take.

Also required to select an item in the drop downs for TITLE field - - - so I picked AMBASSADOR
