The Hero Among Us

    This is an RP, which us old beasts used to do all the time. In this mix we have a few strangers.... maybe heros... but no one is for sure.

 Rules:

      1. At MAX 2 active characters per person.

      2. Character can't have over 2 powers- it's for everyones own good.

      3. Please stay active.

      4. No major romance... ew. 

      5. Keep it interesting!!

       Knowing Thanis must have mixed up his facts, Ace smirked. "Diamond is an angel, doll. Nothing you can say will change my view of her..."

      Beside him, on a pile of boxes sat a crowbar. Ace picked it up and held it in his palm. He could feel the metal warming as his skin began to boil. Slowly, Ace began moving backwards. 

      "Killing me will bring the end to humanity? Who the hell do you think you are?"

"Even angels fall.." Thanis said, as if thinking of something from long past. "No," His voice was grim. "Killing you will save it. The Void wants to rise, and you will not raise him." He reached into his cloak and pulled out a long metal staff.

       "Dude," Ace said laughing. "The Void? Wants me to raise him? I barely have enough power to open a tissue box let alone The Void!"

"Do you ever hear a voice in the back of your mind? A voice guiding you? A conscience, if you will?" Thanis would not relent, he knew this boy was the Key. He had to be.

"I'm running away. I need to be with different people." Dylan looked at the tile floor of the elevator, tracing the edge of the squares with his foot, " I was actually wondering if I could go with you."

    Ace still just looked at Thanis confused. "This is what I do, I can melt things, set them on fire, cause trouble. I don't hear anyone besides your dumb ass."

      Shantel looked down disdainfully at the boy. "We don't have time for this. We need to get out of here now, Diamond." 

     Diamond was uncomfortable with this situation. She didn't want to leave him behind and, with her current standing of just loosing Ace, probably getting him killed, and now helping out Shadow this was all a very big shift for her. As the boy looked up at her, no, not the boy, Dylan- as Dylan looked up at her, she knew there was something special about him.

      "Diamond," Shantel reiterated more forcefully. "Leave it."

       "No. He comes." 

      "God damn it what part of leave it don't you understand!" 

       Diamond gave Shantel a frosty glare. "There is something special about this kid and when we get to where we're going I can set up shop and figure it out." Shantel rolled her eyes. "Unless you want someone else to get their hands on him." 

        Unhappy, she slammed her hand on the emergency button. "Fine. He comes." 

        The elevator was moving again.

"Because the voice you should hear is locked away! Everyone has one, tells them what to do." Thanis shouted angrily. "You don't because he was locked away a thousand years ago!" He tightened his grip on his staff. "And he want so destroy this world."
