Home of Rhett & Link fans - the Mythical Beasts!

What if there was a Mythical Meetup in each state on the same day, just to meet other Beasts from your state? Obviously Rhett and Link could not go to them all, but if we decided on a place and time to meet, maybe Rhett and Link could announce it in a video so everyone would know. The meetup would have to take place in the middle of the state, and some of the teeny tiny states could probably just have one meetup for a few states. I don't know about other countries, maybe they could have meetups too.

MythiCon will be held in the U.S. on the third Saturday in August, which is the 17th.

. If you would like to suggest a location, just leave a comment, and you can check out all the official locations so far on the map that Gumbo made: http://batchgeo.com/map/6d47d99bc13fb7cdee0d62839da5181c

UPDATE: MythiCon will officially start at 1 p.m. Also, I need one person from each state to be a "state captain" of sorts. They would do two things:

-One, bring a sign so that any beasts could see it and know where to go;
-Keep the conversation running, making sure that everyone gets to meet each other;
-And bring a medium sized box. Everyone else can bring a little something for the mail boulder (really little, maybe 2" high?) Then the state leader would mail it to Rhett and Link. The leader doesn't have to be the person who suggested the location, although if that person wanted to they would have dibs on the position.

I hope all of you will attend MythiCon 2013 :D

I did a bit of googling and there is very little in the way of a shopping mall or other suitable meeting place at a halfway spot between the two of you.  As a facilitator for your mythical meet-up, might I suggest  Cluff's Carhop Cafe  in beautiful downtown Fillmore, UT . . . otherwise one of you is going to have a pretty long trip.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO/FROM CRUFF'S CARHOP CAFE

OK that's adorable. I'm not old enough to drive yet, but I think my sister might be able to drive me. Thanks so much for the help! I think I would have a better chance if I got more MBs from Utah wrangled up. I'll just keep searching.

i have a few friends that like rhettandlink. maybe they could come too! same, im only 13, so my mom would have to drive. :) hopefully i can go, if it becomes official.

 have you contacted the other beasts?

phew! ok, just got done contacting all the people gumbo listed. i just commented on their page. so im not sure if they will see it. :/ hopefully they will.

Oh gosh, thanks so much! I'll have to convince my mom to drive me (I'm only 13 too!) I have some friends that like Rhett and Link also, so I'll maybe hitch 'em up and we could party. *crosses fingers*

Working on my poster for MythiCon, and I'm gettin pretty excited!

I think i could get Pennyslivania. (ive lived here for my whole life and i still can't spell it right) we could meet at philly or the king of prussia mall cuz its more specific. but i would love to be a captain of the keystone state!

You asked for it . . . You got it . . . watch for update to the MythiCon map coming very soon!

Now get busy recruiting some participants.  You have only 10 days left to gather a crowd.

The RhettAndLinKommunity wikia now has a page for MythiCon, kind of unfinished since I wrote it ten days before it even happened. Check it out!

Just finished up the NY poster, check it out: http://rhettandlinkommunity.com/photo/image-946
I probably can cover my place but I can't promise anything

added the Utah and Pennsylvania meet-ups to the MythiCon map today . . . that makes 15 sites . . . not counting Georgia since Donna (PeachGeek) had to back out due to schedule conflict and not sure yet about our Kanadian kommpadres.  Click image below to link to the interactive map tool for details.

GUMBO's Tip of the Day ~

When on the interactive map site, you can get driving directions from your location.  If you double click on a map pit it will open a second window zoomed into street level for that location.

Then click the little man icon next to the zoom tool and drag him onto the map so you can do a virtual drive-by of the area . . . here's what the Syracuse (NY) location looks like:
