Ask a Polytheist
I belife in more than one god, i am pagan, and as far as i know im the only polytheist on rett and link.
i figure if anyone has questions pertaining to polythiesim (or my personal belifes) im the one to ask in the Komunity.
if u cant think of somthing to ask pleas answer my question.
If i am a good person and i positivly effect the lives of good people, am still i condemed to an after life of hellish torment just because my religion dosnt agree with yours?
pleas dont take offense to the question im just curious as to how many answers ill get.

There are no "good people". We are all sinful. There is evil we have done and good we have failed to do. No matter how hard we try, we can't be perfect. We have sinful human nature. As soon as we are born, we are doomed to go to hell. Jesus suffered and died for all, so that anyone that believes that he did will go to heaven. I hope you will understand this, Tobias. There is no other way to heaven.

Thank u for the quick and honest answer. i respect your interpratation of the new testament but respectfully disagree.
id prefer to think that there are good people and i belive u may be one of them.
i wish u good tidings and desire u to gain acces to the afterlife u desire.

i belive in all the gods exept for "the devil" who technicly isnt a god but i want to be clear. i belive in gods of war (huetzilopochitle, aries) but i belife they do not create or elongate periods of war, only humans can do that. i belive in loki the god of mischif but i dont belive he is evil just a prankster. i belive that evil is a human creation.
i belive that the symbolisim of the gods has been misconstrude and that like most religions one must rely a combination of fith intuition ang the given texts.

lol srry i was rushed, i ment to say that for all religions one must rely on a combination of faith the givin texts and intuition xP
i also fergot to mention that the main belife held by all pagans is that god lives within all nature and also i wanted to say that i belive in godesses and when i say gods i am refering to the gods and goddesses, its not sexisim i just consider it easeyer.

Wow, I'm impressed, way to put your beliefs out in the open.
And I agree with you on the "way to heaven" question, a god who condemns the good is certainly not divine.
My personal beliefs are that the bible was massively altered by people with good intentions, but bad foresight.
Many things seem to be scare tactics.

lol thanks for the vid my computers been geting fixed so i couldnt reply. I agree that many religions attempt to gain folowers by using scare tactics, and i am glad that some, if not most, people within those religions are tolerant of others belifes. Frankly, I'm surprized that i havent gonten any flack-ish replys about me ither converting or going to hell ( no offence to any religions out there >.> its just with all the christions on rett and link . . . i thaught there would be more intolorance ) I am constantly re-adjusting my vues on the religions of others whilst trying to keep an open mind. for instance i prefer the islamic belife that jesus acended befour his cusifiction, i also think he made a verry interesting demi-god.
you didnt ask a question so i hope u dont mind that i rambled on i just havent used my computer in so long :)

I was raised christian. I even went to sunday school (Snacks rocked!). I felt asthough I was being placed into the religion of christianity rather than actualy having faith. After a wile i became aware of all the pagan belifes that were assimilated into the religion and i found that those pagan belifs were what i realy enjoyed. upon further reserch of the religion i found that its style of worship, prayer and evin its relation to other religions suted my desires and lofe for the earth. hope the info helped i gtg.
