In response to GMCL #27 "We look like who?!"
background:
a) I live in Colorado, USA
b) I am two inches shorter then Rhett.

I took a trip to the phillipines last October/November, for my brother's weding. The stereotype is that Filipinos and other Asians are short. For the most part this is true, althought I did meet some Filipinos over 6'.

Long story short, when I was in th phillipines, I was standing outside a store. This woman was staring at me. When I made eye contact she just kept staring at me. It started to make me uneasy. Then she walked up to me and asked, "You look familiar do I know you?"
I was thinking, "Do you know many freakishly tall Anglos in the phillipines?"
It turned out that no, I did not know her. Although, she did attend college in Colorado, our paths never crossed. But it was fun to be approached by an attractive woman in a forign country asking me if she should know me.

PS. As far as two broken feamors go, if Rhett and I where sitting next to each other in coach. Seatbelts unfastened. And the plane fliped upside down. We would both remain firmly planted in our seats!
