So I know its a far off suggestion but Fort Mcmurray??? Just saying we got a new airport acouple weeks ago, and a lot of community centers built by the oil giants for the purpose of giving back to the community, I'm sure we could find a places to hold the event, good bus system and everybody up here is either working or looking for a great job in there field, and its so far north it make for alot of daylight and low humidity at a nice temperature

I want it to be near Edmonton because it is easy to get to and I do not have a vehicle. Also it is the capital city and i know exactly where it can be, at the expo hall! Calgary I guess works but then I will need a hotel. I more lean towards Edmonton!

My 2 little girls and I are from Calgary and watch GMM everyday would love to see them anywhere in Alberta or Canada for that matter.

If this could be near #LunchWithTheToppingFamily that would be awesome! We're happy to have lunch with Rhett and Link at our place. Plus, it turns out that Mr. Topping is a near event coordinator with mad event planning skills!! :-)

If I may make a suggestion... Red Deer is probably the best location, since it is right in the center, between Edmonton and Calgary, and has tons of beautiful public park space.

@ Marsha - - in case you haven't already heard, the Topping Family has offered to provide all expense paid travel (air fare) from LAX to Calgary (Alberta, Canada) and free lunch for Rhett and Link if they will visit!  Maybe you could contact them and discuss tying it into the MythiCon ALB meeting somehow?

So, I'm willing to 'do' something about this. But considering that our 3 largest cities are all an hour and a half a part, I'd be willing to wait to pick a location and see from which city most people are from. If the biggest percentage are from Edmonton (for example) it can be there.

Let me know other Alberta Beasts...where should it be?
