Rhett Smalls and Link Lamont.

This may have already been answered somewhere, and if so I apologize, but how did you think up the faux last names of "Smalls" and "Lamont" for your facebook accounts?

Lamont was a friend of ours back in grade school. Very funny guy. That was my homage to him.

I think Link has forgotten something...not that his answer isn't true, but the real reason that we chose Smalls and Lamont was because those were our names in Second Life. At one point, I read an article about Second Life, and we thought for a few days that we were going to try to do something like a Second Life song, so we should have avatars. We played the game for a total of a few hours and never did again.

There are a certain number of last names you can choose from in Second Life, and Lamont and Smalls are two of them.

Oh really? that's good to know... I always thought you got it from singing in the rain's "Lockwood and Lamont" but of course it was "Smalls and Lamont" haha =/
