Mythical Show Season 2?
Quick poll - does anyone want the Mythical Show to come back for another season?
Note - If it came back this year, it may make GMM get its 1000th episode next year (and maybe even its 10th season)

Hmm, I don't know. It just feels like a different format to me.
While it would be cool to see some of the individual things (I don't know what to call them haha) being picked up again, like interviews in awkward places and whatnot, they still offer good content. (:
Edit: by the way, when is the 1000th episode bound to be? Or at least whereabouts since it depends on the length of their summer vacation?

Probably sometime during Season 10 (probably halfway or something like that (we are currently up to episode 837)). Season 7 helped a lot as it had both the 600th and 700th episode celebration in it (it was also the longest season ever) so if Season 9 reaches 900 episodes, then Season 10 should have episode 1000. But like you said, it depends on the vacation days as well but last time, it was only a few weeks (but it felt like forever)

well I didn't LOVE the Mythical Show. I did really like it and I loved how it gave us more music vides and songs and sketches. It was pretty funny.
However, and this is just me, one of the things I love about GMM is that it seems so much more like best friends hanging out. It just seems like they can have more fun and you can see that they're genuinely best friends. The Mythical Show does have that too- IM NOT SAYING IT DOESNT! but I didn't get as much of that feel from the mythical show since it seemed like often they were really just saying stuff to build up a joke that was thought out before and sometimes it just wasn't entertaining besides for the songs and sketches. I also think it takes away from the feeling of having some sort of connection with them that I get when I watch GMM. And lastly I really like having it every morning. It makes me start out happy every day and actually helps me get up for school because I want to watch todays GMM and GMMore before I have to go.
I DONT HATE THE MYTHICAL SHOW I REALLY DONT!!!!! Im sorry this came out sounding incredibly negative and like i hate it. I really enjoyed it but no where near as much as I love GMM. i'm sorry if this is mean. I really do love the mythical show and I will watch it and probably love it if they did it again but you understand what I'm trying to say right?
I really don't want anyone to get offended. Im sorry if this upset anyone
Quick question though: wouldn't we still have a GMM episode 1000 if they still did GMM?

Yes but we'd have to wait until next year and this year is also the 10th anniversary of RL on YouTube so I think it would also be fitting if the 1000th episode of GMM was also this year (unless if TMS went on forever and GMM finished)

But wouldn't we still have it if they continued GMM instead of The Mythical show? I would think we would reach 1000 sooner since GMM is 5 days a week vs 1

Another note - each MS episode goes for 30 minutes and a regular GMM goes for 10-14 minutes. 1 week of TMS would have 30 minutes of RL content whereas 1 week of GMM would have 50-70 minutes of RL content. And there's also GMMores as well, which can go from 5 minutes to 20 minutes (usually) so I'm assuming those who love seeing new RL content in abundance would prefer more GMM episodes

It's not that I disliked the Mythical Show but I think the format works slightly better with a daily show and extra segment. It's a lot less pressure on them as creators too, which gives them more time for other side projects.

I honestly didn't like TMS that much. I liked the individual segments (guests, crank calls, monthly weird holiday run down ect.) but I don't like how they basically threw all these random things into one 30 minute "episode" when they could have easily been standalone videos on youtube.
I don't think they would ever bring it back anyway because I'm pretty sure it was a YouTube sponsored series (I could be wrong) and it didn't really do that great, there were 10 episodes and not one episode got over a million views (and some as little as in the 300,000s). The first week back of GMM got 8+ million views (not including GMMore) and if they cut back down to the one episode of TMS a week they would probably get 1.5 million views max (because not everyone is into long form content) so they would be missing out on heaps of money and as much as people say they aren't about the money, they are, everyone is. They need the money to keep their business running and to pay all their employees. I don't know about America but in Australia minimum wage is like $600 a week and they have at least 7 crew members (I know I'm forgetting some) at a quick count that would mean at least $4,200 a week just to the crew and then they need to pay themselves, they need to pay rent on their studio which is massive so I would imagine that would be expensive and then add on all the bills, they need to buy all the props for each episode and then also keep their tech up to date, I think it would be silly to go back to 1 video a week because they would be losing so much money doing it that way.
Didn't mean to get all serious but I don't think it is viable for them to bring the show back and I would prefer for them to be making GMM videos 5 times a week with GMM and make them great quality then maybe have to cut corners to make TMS once a week.
