For others of the Kommunity concerned about Joel & Misty, here is a Google Maps capture of their location in Kumamoto, which would appear to be more protected from the tsunami and earthquake damage itself, being on the Southwestern tip of the country and more inland with several island buffers to open sea. The earthquake was centered approximately 250 miles Northeast of Tokyo and 104 miles East of Sendai. (click on map below for larger image)

Yet I'm certain that their lives and all those of Japan will be extremely disrupted by the events of today. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

I have pretty much all evenings open but Tuesday and Thursday due to choir rehearsal (we are giving a concert on March 28th, and you're more than invited!), and Mondays after 5 PM for the same reason. I leave on April 1--we should be able to work something out before then!

Cross Tabernacle is my church back in the States. Terre Haute, IN to be more exact.
