Well, honestly, I'm a rookie cosplayer as well. I tend to focus on found style cosplays, not sewing ones. You could find similar nose prosthetics here and here. Link's horns are literally just plastic Viking helmet horns, while Rhett's are ram's style horns and a little harder to find out on the streets. As for the suit itself, it looks like faux fur and I'm sure brown or black would be fine. I would use an altered onesie pattern for it and make sure that the head parts are detachable. After that, I really can't offer you any more advice. I've not much experience with sewing so I've no idea what stitches, threads or machines you could use. I hope that helps you a little though!
