Super happy early birthday, Peter!! You should put your theme song on this page somewhere... ;)
  • Parker the Invisible Eagle

Happy birthday again Mr. Super Lungs! I agree that you should put your theme song somewhere on here, but I love the bio btw. Have a great birthday!.
  • Breanna C (the Asrai)

Yay fellow Washingtonian! I won't tell you exactly where I'm from (small town/internet security yadda yadda) but I'm close enough. I was just in Lake Stevens a few months ago for a WIN (or DI, whatever it's called now) competition with my little brother.
  • Suzy (Bluenosed Water Leaper)

Great Bio ! I can relate with it completely !
  • Ben Burton (Mr. Frumious)

Hey, Peter. I appreciate your bio. I think I can relate to your connection to R&L, for many of the same reasons, i.e. similar age, having kids of similar ages, as well as being a guy... All except the part about owning a business, but I do know what it's like to fall victim to the economy, getting laid off last fall (right before Thanksgiving)... Back on my feet, now, though....

Anyway, just wanted to reach out and say Hi. Nice to meet another family guy with similar values on here....
  • Edlives (Dragon)

Thanks for sharing your story Peter. I agree, we need more family oriented content online.
  • Ben Burton (Mr. Frumious)

Hey, Peter, sorry for crushing your dreams like that. No hard feelings? :)

Yes, the 57 song was indeed a birthday present for both my parents, who turned 57 earlier this year. Glad you liked it! The 33 song was actually intended as a birthday song, initially, for a friend who asked that I write them one after hearing my parents' song. Wondering if they'll still be my friend after hearing it.... :)
  • Ben Burton (Mr. Frumious)

Nice, I'm shooting for the Baltimore Half Marathon on Oct. 10. Did three miles easy this morning... You?
  • Aly And Cate (Two headed AlyCat)

    Mr. Heggem!
Thank you for the invitation :D
and might I say, what a lovely crown you have there.
    :D
  • Aly And Cate (Two headed AlyCat)

    We are doing great.
I spaced all of the invites until now...
    oops
  • Robin Dufilho (Puck)

Thanks for such a great comment on our picture! My brother-in-law has a business called "Unformal Portriats" that creates composite pictures. I like it better than the "everyone look at the camera and smile" type of pic. Plus, it captures the kids in their natural environment...

I like your bio. Sounds like we're in similar places in life.
  • Tammy (Landshark)

Oh my, I just realized who you are--the winner of the Super Note contest! How did I miss this? Peter, if you don't mind, I'd like to post R&L's song about you. I admire your modesty. But someone needed to honor your celebrity!! Everyone check this out!

Thanks for the happy birthday on the comment wall it was the frosting on the cake of my day :)
  • Ben Burton (Mr. Frumious)

Thanks for the comment, Peter. That guy has some smooth moves... He and I have similar reactions to boredom. :)

You might also get a kick out this guy's Enter Sandman interpretation...

  • Ben Burton (Mr. Frumious)

Hey, how are doing with your half marathon training, by the way? Making progress? I've been lazy the past few weeks, need to pick it back up...
  • Star B. Ucks

    ok, sure thing...
  • Amber Leach

Christians unite! Lol, nice to meet a fellow Washingtonian!
  • Suzy (Bluenosed Water Leaper)

Hi Peter... I posted a discussion in "burning questions for Rhett and Link"... did I do everything right? Sounds stupid but ....never did it before. I started a group before but not a discussion..?...
By the way, Hi.. how are you?
  • Suzy (Bluenosed Water Leaper)

PETER ! Great Kommunity update.... Natural and informative...KEEP IT UP!
  • Ben Burton (Mr. Frumious)

  • Mel (Salerbatis)

I'm digging the new profile pic!
  • Rhett (Shahbaz)

did you do that new pic for something special other than your profile?
  • Teresa U - Twin Phoenix - TnT

    Love the shamwow picture.
  • John Stratman (Stratmaster J)

I am saying Wow every time I see your Profile Pic
  • Ben Burton (Mr. Frumious)

That is awesome! And I'm jealous... The Baltimore Half Marathon is on Oct. 10, but it turns out I won't be able to run it, since my kids have football and soccer games the same day.... Priorities, priorities.... I need to find another race in the winter or spring that doesn't conflict with anyone else's sports schedule.... and that doesn't fall on a Sunday (finding non-Sunday races can be challenging)....
  • Rhett (Shahbaz)

it's just so cool and well done, I was wondering.
  • Lil' Robin (Kyler)

Your pic really decides your freinds comment ,dosent it
  • Aly And Cate (Two headed AlyCat)

lol I love you Icon pic!!!!!
  • Brian Layman the eHermit

    Marsh-wiggle... VERY good choice
  • Amaryllis (The Flying Unicorn)

Hey is the Marsh-wiggle from Chronicles of Narnia??? I may be completely wrong, since I read the books a while back, but it sounds like that one character in the book with the silver chair or something like that...haha.
  • Amaryllis (The Flying Unicorn)

Awesome!!! Haha I should've thought of something as cool as that lol.
  • Jack Stevenson The RowelPyranto

So, just a random Question but: Did you know that Cephas (Since you are Cephas76) did you know that it is the Hebrew (I think Hebrew) word for: Peter?
  • ✞JeanWifeMoMhorphin✞

  • Jack Stevenson The RowelPyranto

I was reading my bible and in the NKJ version Jesus calls Peter Cephas, and it also showed the translation.
  • Jack Stevenson The RowelPyranto

    I'd agree with that..
  • Claire (Flying Penguin)

hehe thanks for the comment on the pic. It appears that picture may have spurred a set of mythical penguins in the Kommunity.
  • Teresa U - Twin Phoenix - TnT

Peter, thanks so much for your awesome work as a K-Mod!

Make sure you catch the Komm update on Monday!! :)
  • Corey Kramer (Ghost Chicken)

Thanks for the K-moddin' and way to be featured!
  • Teresa U - Twin Phoenix - TnT

You are most welcome, my friend! (And thanks! :D )
  • Amaryllis (The Flying Unicorn)

Hey I finally realized why your online name is Cephas!!! At least I think I know why. Greek for Peter, right? Or something like that?
  • Amaryllis (The Flying Unicorn)

    Cool. ^-^

Dallas is awesome right now! The weather is rotating between sunny and cool, super cold, really really rainy, and hot and humid. Each day is a mystery lol. But I like it, especially compared to Florida at this time which is basically just HOT.

And my classes are really great, too. Oh, and CFNI is having the Alumni Conference this week, so I'm meeting a bunch of cool people! But I'm mostly excited about the summer outreaches that they announced on Monday. I'm gonna try and go to Bermuda. =)
  • Claire (Flying Penguin)

Aww you havent gotten a gift yet? Well let me be the first to give you one: Happy Christmas and a Merry New Year gift :) It should stand out on this green background
  • Claire (Flying Penguin)

incidentally what is a a marsh wiggle? is it like a marshmallow and a worm?
  • Philip (Groffgryphon) Austin

When I saw the Marsh-Wiggle name, I had to comment! I have loved the Narnia stories, read them to my kids (now in their 20's) before they could read, and have delighted in the TV and movie theater versions, especially the ones closest to the story. I think the BBC did excellent casting when they picked Tom Baker (of Dr. Who fame) for Puddleglum.
I am sorry to hear of your business setback, but rejoice that you know Jesus, and that He is faithful, never leaves us nor forsakes us, and loves us with a greater love than we could ever have for ourselves. God bless you, brother!
  • Claire (Flying Penguin)

Hehehe you as a gloomy and pessimistic character? Somehow I don't see that happening much, especially since you look so happy with that Shamwow in your pic.
  • DantheMontageMan (Black Wing)

    Dear the almighty Cephas76,
I havent talked to ya in a long time...
how are ya? Hope alls good.
  • Caitríona (An Púca)

    Nice! Your marsh-wiggle!
I read the narnia books :-)
