I knew these clowns from back in high school! Acutally, Rhett's brother, Cole, and I were classmates and good buddies.....its amazing how famous they're acutally becoming. Can't wait to watch "Looking for Ms. Locklear"!!! I'm also a Buies Creek Elementary School Alumn, so this movie will really hit home (no pun intended)! Take care man.....OJ
Thanks :) As for SYL, its all a matter of opinion, although I enjoy listening to them a lot, one of my favorite songs is "Love?":http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LeG-6bpeUkA
Hey man thanks for the welcome, I have been enjoying Rhett and Link's work for some time and just decided to join... so on behalf of ... myself, I would like to say "Thanks"
Thanks for the welcome. I, like others, have been enjoying R and L for quite some time now, and joined because I was trying to find the photos that were displayed earlier on the old blog site from the Cary Ms. Locklear premiere. There were probably 100 or so, but I cannot locate them now--I, my family and friends attended, and I saw some good photos of our friends and told them to check them out, but now I can't find them. Any ideas?
Just read your bio. Check out Phil Keaggy if you haven't already ( a Christian artist from way back when and a MAJOR guitar guy--albums 220, Jammed!, and Master and Musician would be a good beginning). Also Pat Metheny's American Garage album. I play bass in our praise band service at church, and also accompany the choir at the traditional services.
Our worship pastor is an Oklahoma boy, and has been with us here in Apex, NC for over 15 years.
Here's an OK trivia research topic for you: who wrote a Christian Boomer-Sooner song? Hint--initials K.W., 1970's
Thanks for the welcome. Yeah its my avatar (gt: Dr Thrasher), I usually use it till I get the time to upload an actual photo of myself. I know that may sound weird but I never keep photos of myself on my computer, just a weird thing about me I guess.
I knew the trivia question might be a toughie, though our worship pastor did remember her (but he is sort of in the business as it were.) The singer's name is Kelly Willard, and the song was on her 1st album "Blame It On the One I Love" (...like a Boomer needs a Sooner, Lord I know I need your love...) She has a web site with her old and new stuff.
I'm glad you like Phil Keaggy. He has given some solo concerts in my area--I got to hear him solo and also when he toured with Michael Card and Sara Groves a few years back.
I mostly play Rainbow Six Vegas 2, L4D (going to get 2 when when it is released), Halo 3 (it will be ODST when I get around to picking it up), Guitar Hero, CoD 4(only play it if I am playing with a group really, I don't like pugs in this game), Battlefield Bad Company, those are the multiplayer games I play (which I probably wouldn't be playing half of these if it weren't for the gaming community I was part of),but I usually don't get on that much during school semesters. Then of course I play single-player games with rpg styled elements to them. What games do you play?
Heard some bird like screams in the sky.
Looked up and nothing was there.
Thanks for dropping by. : )

Oh cool i'll have to pick it up.Thats what I think I like best about these guys they're real and they don't need cussin' or dirty stuff to make ya laugh.
Yeah actually I only caught the last fifteen min or so but I just finished watching the vid (now Saturday)
Yes, and thank you for welcoming me. It took me awhile to respond. Maybe too long. I have been so busy with my work that I sometimes do not know when to slow down.
I have been frequenting the Live webcast in person at the secret location of Rhett and Link and have been getting a big picture type view of the aspects of webcasting. Yes, it is a very interesting off shoot of television broadcasting of which I used to be familiar with. The bonus of seeing it live is seeing 2 wonderful, talented people in action.
Anywho, I will be there this Thurs. to see Rhett alone at the helm and to give him any assistance if so need be....Then it's off to the Mountains for a few days for some R&R. Later
