How many cavities have you had?

We all love the "wholesome" sugary goodness that is candy. Some of us were little 'angels' in our youths and brushed regularly while the rest of us could care less about dental hygiene (the little devils) especially if it washed the taste of candy out of one's mouth. I always wondered if there was a correlation: (1) How many cavities have you had and (2) at what age were you "trusted"/ given free reign over your candy supply?

For me, I have had 10 to 12 cavities (luckily most have fallen out with my first set of teeth).
I was trusted and given free reign with candy by age 10 when I was the only the last one to stop trick-or-treating in my family.

Oh, that's a good question! Although it is a sad thought that candy can give some negative affects (or is it effects?), I've had two or three cavities in my life time! Thankfully, they were all on baby teeth!!

As for how old I was when I was able to eat candy without asking (if it belonged to me, of course!), then it was probably somewhere around nine years old. But, then again, I didn't really keep track, so there's no telling for certain! ;)

Surprisingly I have never ever had a cavity! I remember that my dentist would put your picture on a bulleitn board if you were cavity free. I thought I was so cool because I always had my picture up there. You would get an awesome sticker and some fluoride toothpaste too! But I cant remember what age I started eating candy. I do remember this candy stash that I had in a drawer in my room though. I kept it full of Halloween candy. I was such a pack rat.

I haven't had that many cavities, actually. Around 5, I'd say.
