water flows and falls
cascading sheets like class
giving life to all

Elastic and Rubber
Silly Bands are very weird.
Rubber Bands stretch far.
Rubber Balls bounce very high!

Dog's Anger
I walk in the door
and the dog is mad.
That's only because
I treat him bad.

"Covetous Dog"
Drool invested
beaten, torn
dirty, filthy ball
Wagging tail
Longing look
Intense in stance & call...
BARK BARK
He crouches down real low
Ready
Steady
Pleading
BARK BARK
He begs in groans within
Longing
Wanting
Needing
Hesitant,
I grab it...
GROSS as it can be
Ears perked
Eyes fixed
The ball is all he SEES...

I had thought that you were growing
It was hard not truly knowing
I took the test
The results were the best.
I had you growing inside
My heart couldn’t subside
I’m so excited you are here
Growing inside so near.
I got to see your little heart beat
I almost jumped to my feet.
Your dad was there to
He was excited when he knew.
You are growing everyday
What more can I say
You keeping getting bigger
I need to knit you a sweater
You are twenty weeks inside me today
The day that I never wished came my way
I saw your little face on the screen
Hoping all will be ok
The Good Lord needed you
Yet my heart is so blue
I am glad You were in my life
I wish it didn’t hurt like a knife.
I know I’ll see you one day
And hold you some way.
David Mom and Dad miss you
