I have done this! While leading worship...at church...pianist starts the song...and I go blank! I can't figure out where she is in the intro...I can't find the key...I'm staring at her like a deer in headlights! SO embarassing! Ugg. I knew it would happen one day that I'd mess up like that but it was during the Thanksgiving service that I had worked really hard to make great. And I guess it did go well...just not that moment. (My face is red now just thinking about it...)
