I'm a 21st century kid, BUT a Gilligan's Island enthusiast. I own all three seasons, and have watched every episode multiple times. It is, I am proud to say, my favorite TV show:)

I looked it up on the Internet, and it said in the pilate episode of Gilligan's Island, it was revealed that Gilligan's first name was Willy. So, does that mean Gilligan is his last name?

Okay . . . let's see how much of this I can recall from my childhood:
Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale, the tale of a fateful trip,
that started from this tropic port aboard a tiny ship.
The mate was a mighty sailor man, the Skipper brave and sure.
Five passengers set sail that day for a three hour tour. (a three hour tour)

The weather started getting rough the tiny ship was tossed.
If not for the courage of the fearless crew The Minnow would be lost. (the Minnow would be lost)
