no derpy its nowhere close to pokemon unless pokemon had giant monsters bent on killing everything they see fighting  a group of hunters fighting despretly to help evac the plant of people before the monsters kill all of humanity and stop them from getting stronger and bigger in numbers and size then yes it is pokemon
