I've walked into the men's bathroom before. Thankfully, it was empty every time except one, but that one time was pretty bad.

I was at a baseball game with some co-workers and I had had a couple drinks. I walked into what I thought was the ladies' facilities only to find a room full of men staring at me in disbelief. I mean to say that I walked ALL THE WAY IN. I passed men on their way out, I passed the sinks where several men were washing up, I even passed a row of urinals. I made it all the way to the back where there were more urinals and some stalls. I glanced around and saw my male co-workers peeing and I was like "why are they in the ladies' room?" Then the terror slowly washed over me as I realized that I was the one who was in the wrong place. I was frozen on the spot. All I could do was look around at all the men giving me indignant looks. My friends had to escort me out (apologizing as they went) because I could not move. When I re-joined the rest of the group my female friends saw the look on my face and asked what happened. My only response was "I saw Paul pee."

So now I, too, have that little panic moment every time I walk into any public restroom where I have to calm myself down and say "there are no urinals in here, you're gonna be okay."

This is kind of a hilarious story! I have never accidentally gone to the men's bathroom, though I do worry about it. I've purposely gone in one though.

Yeah, it was pretty hilarious for everyone else. Why did you go into the men's room on purpose?

My parents sometimes went to a gathering at a church every Saturday and so my brother and I (we were really young) just ran around the building and no one else was around, so we checked out each other's bathrooms haha. The women's had a powder room and lounge and was far nicer.

Soon to hit the newstands . . . latest edition of The Daily Beast

Ha! That's appropriate.

hahahahahaha

Nicely done, Gumbo!

Sorry, I thumbed you - LOL!!! :)

Rhett, in Europe they do have the 'female' urinal, I remember reading about it in highschool and thinking..."that's awkward!!" More awkward than a unisex bathroom I think. Yet not as awkward as a squatty potty.

I know they make a kind of funnel so that women don't have to squat. That would come in real handy when you're camping or the restroom is gross.

I dont know that I would ever want to use one EVER!
