I always assumed it was called black friday because of the stores finally making a profit but i had no idea that it stated because the day was a "black mark". interesting stuff

Just saw the episode. I too share in Rhett's intense frustration at the lack of men's tall only clothing.

That was the best part of the episode. I would kill to see Rhett in a shirt 2X too small! :) (Im just joking. But seriously!)

I never really thought about it, It's always been just a day that I didn't even question. I went shopping at Target for Black Friday yesturday for the first time (I had never gone shopping on Black Friday). It was not a good experience. The deals were not "WOW", and the store was basically empty.... Awkward! Liked the video very much though; both Rhett and Lin made good points.

Opening could use a light or 2 which is a fail but the sweet sounds were a win - YEAH!!! :)

00:34 - Get Mythical - YEAH!!! :D

My power or health bar certainly decreases in a shopping mall or centre (as we say in Australia) greatly if I don't know what I'm looking for and hoping to find it. That's why 95% of the time, I have a game plan. In and out with the goods - no fuss - TRUTH!!! :)

Also, there is a lack of oxygen most of the time due to bad circulation or faulty air conditioning. This results in reduced brain activity and increased fatigue - OMG!!! :(

Excellent interpretive dance Link - FTW!!! :)

Viki says "Black Friday, September 24, 1869 was caused by two speculators’ efforts, Jay Gould and James Fisk, to corner the gold market on the New York Gold Exchange. It was one of several scandals that rocked the presidency of Ulysses S. Grant."
