I was impressed by the RandLer! I've thought of trying to knit one, but I don't know how I'd go about the pattern. Great job on the crochet. :)

I do! I have made a bunch of little toys (dog, lizard, hedgehog), but only from patterns -- I'm not sure how I'd do with making up a pattern. Maybe if I found a good squirrel or mouse pattern; modifying the limbs wouldn't be as scary as figuring out the body from scratch. :P

I think you're right - probably a squirrel, because of the legs? Then just make some wings and antlers and a tail - pipe cleaners work great for those =)

Yeah! Or i-cords -- those are easy. I've seen some examples of putting a pipe cleaner through a knitted i-cord for limbs, so that's an idea too. I have a bunch of gift toys to get through but after that I might attempt a randler. :P
