Awesome, we look forward to seeing you! :D

Hey, Mythical Beasts! There is an extreme heat warning in effect for the DC area this weekend, so please bring water to stay hydrated, and anything else you might need to keep cool! We are still meeting just inside the main gate of the zoo -- I'll be wearing my GMM shirt and wearing an ID lanyard -- but if it gets too hot, we'll move to an indoor exhibit building or an eatery like the Mane Grill. I'll see you all tomorrow!! :D

i cant make it today :'(

Is there a wheel ?
No, but I have a packet of trivia with merchandise for prizes!
Looking for a Victoria in a GMM T-shirt!

We survived the heat! 16 people (and a handful of chaperone parents) attended this year's DC Mythicon, which is even more than last year, so I'm going to call that a success. ;) A big shout-out goes to Leah, who won 1st place in our trivia contest with 47.5 out of 60 points!

Unfortunately, the video clip on my camera of our Wheel of Mythicality video was cut off in the beginning, so it only contains "Washington, DC, and it's time to spin the Wheel of Mythicality." Does anyone else have the full video clip that they could post, and we can submit that one to Rhett and Link/GMM?

Heads down and focused on answering the trivia questions!

Aha! found a bit of indoor seating with A/C for the trivia portion of the festivities

COOL (literally)

I put a video on my page of the wheel intro so you can see if it's done right, then if we need to we can figure out how I can send it

I looked at the video -- I think that would work! We're all kind of looking off to the side, but that's just because your camera is recording from a different angle. Not a big deal. :)

You'll have to upload it to YouTube in order to submit it for (potential) use on GMM, because they accept submissions through a form now: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1Rru35faJrgAU0vKtu1dXVsePIft3KqnxcH.... They also specifically say they want the privacy settings on the video to be set to unlisted.

Leah was able to provide an alternate file of our Wheel of Mythicality ending and submitted it to GMM for us. Watch it here: https://youtu.be/VA1vkNSyh1g
