Given all the alternatives discussed in today's show, Link's new look is obviously the best choice considered.

and, of course, the bald Fu Manchu is a very close second place.

To be a little more specific, R&L said in that conversation that they may start using less of the two-heads logo and/or will create a new one that doesn't include their faces, due to the general issue that it relies on their physical characteristics -- which can and will change, as made very clear by Link getting a new haircut.

So any new future logo will probably be completely different, if only for the fact they don't want their heads in it!

I'm actually surprised they've kept the current logo as long as they have. I'm not exactly sure when they first started using it, but I'd guess it's been at least 4 years (they were already using it when I became a fan). In internet terms, it's ancient! XD
