Wait, I thought they live in California. Wouldn't it make sense for them to come to the California Mythicon 2014? :P

Hey, yo! Last call for any North County SD Beasts who need a ride up. I'm willing to pick people up at like one of the local malls in Escondido or Oceanside. I've got room for 4 people max. I plan on leaving my house about 10 am/10:30 since it's a two hour or so drive up there.

10,000 bonus MythiBeast points if you wear that outfit to MythiCon tomorrow!

I.... ran out of silver paint.... TnT The little bottle I got it in was barely enough to cover my arms and head! And I can't find larger bottles.... I have to order more. I do plan on bringing the glasses up, but not the rest....

Noooooooooo! I got lost on the way to the Glendale Galleria and I missed it!
Ran into a Mythical Beast who told me it had just ended. Why oh why? I got lost last year too. Next year I'll have to leave several hours earlier. I'd sit in a mall for a couple of hours to make sure I didn't miss Mythicon!
That was me! I saw your (husband?) wearing a Rhett and Link shirt. Still super bummed that they didn't show up.. But it was such a blast meeting all the Mythical Beasts that were there.

Aww we missed you, Rose! We were looking out for you, sorry you missed it :(

Yep Sadie, that big bald guy in the green Rhett and Link shirt was my husband.

Thanks for the checklist, Gumbo. It's nearly perfect, but I'd add an alarm clock set for 5am. That gives me two hours to get up, get ready, eat breakfast, and load up my car; three hours to drive the 150 miles from Ridgecrest to the Glendale Galleria, plus an extra two hours in case of traffic/GPS failure/navigator taking a nap or whatever else might go wrong. That should put me there by noon so I could have lunch and (going by the list) meet my co-host to pick a spot and set up for event.

It also might help if I stop trying do something else that morning before I get there. Last time it was drop my van off at the mechanic on Burbank Blvd, (I wish it was Goorgen at Arlen Transmission, but it was up the street from that) and this time I was doing a church thing (which is why I showed up in a dress). I blame the detours for throwing my navigation off.

It was so nice meeting you Malvin!!
