Are you on the east coast now, or something? Suspicious...but I shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth, so I'm glad my birthday wish to you has been accepted after all. Phew! I was really on edge there for a while.
I'm here early this year because TECHNICALLY it's officially your birthday, but if you were to go by the correct time zone, you'd be forced to wait another 30 minutes.
I was actually thinking about it earlier today, and it's kinda crazy we met over 6 years ago. I know we don't have the opportunity to talk as much as we used to, but I still consider it a duty of mine to at least wish you a happy birthday!
I'm currently working on a small project, and I'm hoping to gain enough motivation to finish it. But I'll be sure to show you once I reach that point! Haha
So, Kevin, I wish a very happy birthday to you! Hope you're enjoying your early birthday!
I appreciate that! I re-signed up for it on my personal account, so I guess I'll find out next month whether that worked or not. I've experienced a weird progression with these newsletters -- first they just arrived about an hour later than most people, then I stopped receiving them at my personal email and only had them auto-forwarded from the Komm email, then both accounts stopped receiving them altogether. Oh well.
I wouldn't have known that this month's newsletter already came out if it weren't for your comment on Corey's artwork. I'm subscribed to the newsletter on both the Kommunity email account and my personal account, and I received it at neither. Pretty annoyed about it. >.>
It was pretty much the best way to break the streak. Oh of course! If I can't keep my 'stay-in-California-for-the-rest-of-your-life' honor alive, then maybe I can keep the new title of 'leave once every 22 years'. And you, sir, will be the first to know again. Who knows, maybe I'll go to Oregon next. I have a lot of time to plan after all.
Wow, what a title! I'm sure you're the administrator of such an important group of people.
Literally just went up for the day! Got a late start and hit so much traffic because of the flooding here, so I only had about 3 hours to explore. It's a long drive, but I was back in good 'ole California by the end of the day.
I've been to the snow several times, but Tahoe is different because you're not as surrounded by a forest of trees like you are in Yosemite, for example. It's mostly freeway driving, so you have a better view of how far the snow actually extends. Plus THE California girl is always in love with snow, so it's easy to impress me. haha
So here's a 20 minute belated birthday wish (at least in CA time, which is still the correct time zone)! I do apologize for my tardiness, it's been quite a rough couple weeks and I have too many things to think about. :/ Regardless, it's no excuse to not say happy birthday within a reasonable time. Really hope it was a great one, and I'll have to catch up with you soon!
Dude, with your talent, you have no need to worry. We get to take turns playing our own music, so it was running in the background as everyone was drawing. I think my teacher actually really liked them!
I've been doing just fine! Considering I dropped my math class this semester, I'm less stressed now (awful teacher again). :P Drawing is great. I'm finally getting back into it and I feel like my skills have really developed! :D Got to try all kinds of new media for the first time.
And how is Kevin? Seems I'm terribly inconsistent and allow too much time to go by.
