Sketchtober 2015, and other thoughts

I'm LOVING the sketches from Sketchtober this year! (assuming they keep doing it in the future)

The most current one, "BFFs", made me laugh and seriously cry real tears towards the end! It was so powerful!

I've been watching GMM/Rhett and Link for a solid 3 months now and I'm so happy these guys are having fun making their videos. It shows that they really love what they do and have not been afraid to share their work with the world. It's so brave to do that these days.

I considered doing the same thing, starting a YouTube channel like they and so many others have, but I'm not creative enough, or at least haven't thought of what the current state of the YouTube world needs. Also, I would feel super embarrassed doing anything and showing it online. I'd rather be behind the scenes, helping someone else with their channel and production and editing elements.

But enough about that. BYMB.

That's the first time I did the same thing (laughed, then stopped so suddenly). You have to finish the episode today, it's VERY good (but aren't they all?!). :)

I got really choked up at the end, but my husband who does not consider himself a mythical beast (just yet) didn't get it. In order to really have emotions rise at the end of the sketch, you have to know their history, sense of humor, love for one another, and you have to live them too. Just hearing the words from Rhett, "Link, I'm your best friend." was all it took, I melted. I have laughed for years so hard that I have cried watching their content, but never laughed and then stopped laughing only to get choked up....in a good way. I still haven't finished GMM or GMMore because I'm so hung up on this sketch.
