The Three Baby Birds

Way up high in the tops of the trees,

Lies a small bird' s nest, no one can see.

Three baby birds are ready to go,

To fly even farther, then the nest that they know.

After lunch the birds are ready to fly,

And three baby birds and their mother soared threw the sky.

Their mother made sure to stay right behind,

The three baby birds made sure to speak their minds.

" Mom!" they said, "No need to follow!"

The mom said, "Sure, but be back by tomorrow!"

With a small laugh, the mom soared very high,

And three baby birds flew threw the sky.

It felt like a dream, but every dream has an end,

The three baby birds had to fly back again.

The three baby birds stopped for a rest,

Then the three baby birds flew back to the nest.

When back, they were surprised that their mother,

Was going to give them a speech like no other.

" I know that you'll be flying high, and leaving the nest soon,

So I want you to know I love you from the sun to the moon!"　

A smile appeared on the momma bird' s beak,

But once again she started to speak.

"No matter how high you fly, or how fast you soar,

I will never, ever, love anything more."

With that the baby birds were sent to bed,

Because after a long flight you need to rest your head.

All threw the night, the momma bird knew,

That love would be the only thing on their minds the next time they flew.

... I HATE it.... But it does make me feel special posting it :D
