Home of Rhett & Link fans - the Mythical Beasts!

I had the best childhood my parents could have provided for me. I had every single Disney Classic in VHS with my name scribbled in the box. We as a family went camping and boating every chance we got. Every weekend I built forts bigger than my room.I was a very curious and imaginative child. For example; I had 2 imaginary best friends; Ricky and Jeanie, and I can still remember the day she left me. My camping trips did not consist of mere boats and bugs, but to me they were adventures in which my movies came to life. My forts were not made up of sheets and chairs; they were my castles, and I was a lost princess in a world I did not belong.
I was never the girl fit in. I was never asked to a prom, I've never had a secret valentine, and I was never someone that other people were drawn to. Come to think of it, I have never fit in anywhere as much as I have in my own head. Over the years I have gathered great friends that love and enjoy me for the sensitive heart and wandering mind that I am, and I am forever grateful. In my heart I know that these are the friends I had in my mind when I was a child. These were the mythical beasts that guided me through the forests and waters and castles; The princes that saved me from my slumber.
My friends, like my imagination, are my salvation. They keep me safe, and always aware of who I really am; a nerd with the biggest heart and even greater curiosity.

If none of this made sense to you, don't worry. I'm also a chronic rambler.
